Why should I apply?

You should apply if you are interested in learning more about a career in consultancy. This is an opportunity to discover how consulting can be relevant to non-business backgrounds by talking to experienced consultants who often share a similar background to you.

Who can participate?

This programme is designed for PhD & Post - Doc students and those on a prestigious scholarship within the UK. It is open to the students in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Students need to be due to complete their studies in 2017 or 2018.

How do I apply?

Please apply online by Sunday 12 February 2017.

Please submit a CV detailing your experiences. A cover letter is not required. Please visit our website to see what we look for and what to include in your resume.

You will also be asked to list for office or practice choices that you are interested in. This is for reference purposes and does not bind you for the future. Please choose a practice such as digital or operations if you have a special interest in this area and relevant experience.

Is there any cost associated with the event?

No, McKinsey will cover all your expenses regarding room, board, and travel associated with this event.

Is this event an assessment centre?

Due to competition for places you will need to complete the SHL tests in order to apply for this programme. This information may be used in future job applications therefore please prepare well.
